78 Percent of Koreans Consider Corruption Level Serious
It was discovered that eight out of 10 Korean people view the level of corruption in the country as serious, and that the regional monopoly by a specific political party is the main reason of corruption. In addition, a survey found that people generally think the country's integrity rating is only half that of a developed country.

Wow. The people seem to have made an accurate assessment of themselves. The bottom line is that they seem to want to get something for nothing, even if it means cheating their own people. When looking at 3rd world nations, corruption is one of the highest factors that keeps them from prosperity. Korea is a not a 3rd world nation, but they are courting some dangerous vices. |
