I have a Pentax Optio S4 digital camera and occasionally manage to take a photo which is worth enlarging to the max.

I've been told that saving and then downloading to a computer in RAW format will give excellent resolution suitable for big enlargements.

My question is ......... how do I save in RAW format and not in JPEG [which appears to be the default]

I've tried contacting Pentax offices in Australia, Japan and the US but they don't reply.

Pentax makes a good camera but their after sales service is poor. Hope someone can help.

Your camera doesn't support that feature. JPEG only.

Besides, unless you tweak a RAW in photoshop, it won't look any better enlarged than a JPEG. RAW isn't about enlarging.
