I aggree with polly, they scream when a white person calls them this, but there brother, mother, father, sister and minister can call them all they want.
If it is such a nasty word why would you say it at all, wouldnt it be shunned by the whole race because of its implications instead of used because of its novalty.

Their brother/father etc. usually care about them and whites usually don't. It's like Chris Rock said- you can call your kid an idiot but nobody else can.

This whole argument is stupid. I'm white. My girlfriend is black. I'm not going to be anyone other than who I am and neither will she. Trying just makes you look dumb. It's true that presentation matters and a lot of black people don't understand that but that's usually because they have so few positive role models. My girlfriend is the first in her family to go to grad school. In that environment she doesn't have a network of family members who could help her out.

If it's officially acceptable to create hybrid words like "whigger", then I say we start calling this guy "blonky".

Are you quoting the great Mr Rod Rude?

Its all comes down to the rules, its all about the rules.
If your white, you have to be mindful of histories mistakes and be PC and not call them the N word, cottle races that were repressed or colonized by the scary white man, give them money for past attrocities and make sure they have more than enough government supported programs to make their lives easier.
If you are a minority, then you are allowed to call white boys anything under the sun and its called pride, not racism.
If a white persome doesnt want black friends 'racist' if a black person is only surronded be black people 'cultural'
If the governments around the world are going to continue the segregation they practise by providing special treatment to races that were mistreated one to two centuries ago, (Moari in NZ, Aboriginal in Aus, Afr Amer in the US etc..I dont mean aparthied or the Afr amer struggle in the south, Im more refering to NZ/AUST) then how are we supposed to come together as one nation, looked at as equals, treated as equals etc...
When is enough, enough? When is this generation going to stop paying for previous generations mistakes?
We should be saying right, we have programs in place for education, health and welfare that is the SAME for everyone regardless of race and is available to everyone who needs it, not because the happen to be non-white.

Um, are you aware of how recently anti segregation laws were passed in the states. Oppression didn't end with slavery my friend.

I know I shouldnt ask this after expounding upon the ignorance of your stereotyping of an entire race, but Im curious, where did you grow up?

It's obvious where you think he grew up. You think he grew up in the south. And thus, he is a redneck. What you don't realize is that there are probably less problems between blacks and white in the south these days than in, say, Chicago, Boston, and Los Angeles. That southern redneck thing is getting about as old as the anti-American spoutings from the rest of the world.
