Another egregious use of the English language in Korea. By definition, an "event" is "a significant occurence or happening". When the gas station attendent hands me that small package of industrial grade tissue paper that I wouldn't wipe my dog's ass with after I just dropped W60,000, I wonder if he realizes the irony of the use of the word "event" in connection with that product? Of course not. Gas station attendents aren't the brightest bulbs in the bunch, and neither are Korean marketing specialists, apparently.

Now, if Lee Hyo-ri came over to my car with a dust mop jammed up her ass and proceeded to wipe my dash with it, that would qualify as an "event".

Get it right, f**knuts.

I don't care how people use a word when they borrow it, I just wish they would return it when they're finished with it. I can think of a lot of French and Latin words I'd like to give back.

One assumes you wouldn't be interested in wiping your dog's ass if you had just dropped sixty thousand won...wouldn't you be picking the money up first?
