I have been pulled out by my agency from a private i was allegedly doing because of this crackdown. They have also temporarily closed all their classes in Gangnam. 40 teachers have thus far been caught, fined and some deported. Immigration and police have been waiting outside bigger companies and have then been following people in.

Be careful...

I was also pounced on for a private lesson. I am at a college in Gyeongnam province. The lesson was arranged by a Korean professor here on campus and the student was a member of his extended family. He and I had to go before a hearing of sorts in Changwon. It was unpleasant but no fine or deportation notice has been issued. I do believe I got lucky.
