I was an AA flight attendant for 2 1/2 years before I came here (had to quit cuz of ear problems, sadly). The worst flights in our system were Toronto- New York. People on those flights were beyond rude. |

There are rude and racist people everywhere unfortunately. A lot of people think their problems will go away if they go somewhere else, the grass is always greener. But in reality, you simply swop your old problems for a brand new set.
Thats what life is: its an assault course of problem solving. And it NEVER ends, except when you die. Happiness is from within, it doesn't depend on your circumstances. |

Hey Rapier, what does that have to do with Toronto, the World Series, short track speed skating or American Airlines Flight attendants? |

If you're a 5'10 dumpy, Eastern European looking lady with dyed blonde hair with black roots , a hairy mole on your chin and an attitude best reflected by a pre-flight speech that went something along the lines of "It's ain't my job to stow your bags in overhead so don't even bother asking me!"...then yes, I most certainly have met you. |

Yeah- let's move onto a discussion about flight attendants!!
This one time in Calgary, at band camp- I mean, at the airport, my co-worker cleaned out the Tim Hortons's express kiosk that was at our gate. The dude behind us was enraged. Man, if he had been nice, we would have given him one of our donuts. I mean, my friend bought a dozen donuts to take home to her friends and family (we thought maple donuts were good Canadian souvenirs- heh, heh). Not our fault Tim's hadn't stocked enough donuts (this was around 7 am, mind you).
Edit-Sparxx, are you sure you aren't talking about Air-Tran? Them girls be using words like "ain't". |

Air Canada stewardesses are pretty bad- if you ring that bell for service once, they make sure as hell you don't ring it a second time.
On the flip side, I once spent a fairly rowdy flight from London->NYC with 4 friends and at the end of the journey one of the cabin crew said
"Hey guys, you've forgotten your Duty Free"-
handing us a free bottle of champagne in a plastic bag with a wink.
British Airways *sniff* they do our country proud. |

How the boys and I from le Circle Club love those playful flirty airline staff! The way they c0ck a wrist when handing over the canapes, serve the caviar-au-crouton with that dashing and debonair sophistication, and wear their berets at a somewhat racy angle upon their immaculately coiffed heads!
First Class all the way, boys, tally-ho! |

It's the "scared you will lose!!!!" part that makes me laugh. As if any other country could compete against North American major league talent. I'm just wondering what some international team names in a hypothetical "real world series" scenario could be. The Paris Baguettes? The Sydney Dingos? The Edinburgh Soap Dodgers? The Gaza City Martyrs (ouch)? The Amsterdam Pot Heads? Oh wait, I got a better one for Paris: The Paris Surrenderers: they never make it past the 3rd inning. |
oh well. |

Did you know that ADOONS spelled backwards is SNOODA?
Go ahead and reflect on that for a sec.

I didn't say HEARING problems, f***wit. If I had a hearing problem, I wouldn't be doing the entertainment news for Arirang radio tonight, now would I?
So who wants to be my new punching bag now that ADOONS has outed herself? I don't understand Afrikaans, but are you Budley Bradley's sock?? |
