congratulations spurs fans.

it wouldn't be a game 7 without someone (isiah) making it a nightmare for knicks fans.

1. watching naz win a championship (although he shot like starks: 0-3).
2. knicks helping the spurs win a championship (see #1)
3. the Qrich trade rumours

i mean, for f's sake.

Kudos to the Spurs. They played their worst ball of the season this series, but they managed to come together and win it at the end.

Definitely not a memorable series, despite going 7 games. Tim Duncan is the MVP? WTF?

I'm glad the Spurs won but I have new found respect fot the Pistons.
Duncan the MVP? What a joke - Duncan played a good 7th game but Manu was by far the difference in the series.

Would have been a different series with 4 games in Detroit. Very defensive series, best defenses in the league.

What a year for Manu!

I, too, have new-found respect for the Pistons. It will be a tough year without Larry Brown back. They have a pretty solidly built nucleus of players. Ben Wallace is tough, but they should trade off Rasheed and his mouth.

They need to trade for some reliable three-point shooters. That's what killed them in game 7.

One of the best lines from the San Antonio announcer on the internet stream" Rasheed Wallace has really only committed 2 fouls in his whole career. 1 iin high school and the other in College.-Just ask him"

Any chance of seeing the draft on TV? I can't remember if it was last year.

This draft is going to be interesting. All the mock drafts I read are all over the place after the first 3. I have a feeling there are going to be some big trades during and just after the draft. Also, with the new CBA every team can cut a player to save on the luxury-tax. Houston will be cut by NY for sure and there is a lot of talk in Dallas of Finley being cut. My guess is those guys will sign for the vet min. on a contender. Actually this entire off-season, not just the draft is going to be interesting.

Anyone think Jesus Shuttlesworth is going to leave Seattle? They had a great year, but it's obvious they'll never contend for a championship while in the west.

Which is a shame, because they were great to watch.

I think he'll bolt, unless Seattle can pick up a good center (of which there are very few in the L), or a strong PF, and some veteran role players.

Also, where do you think Damon Stoudamire will end up? He'd be a good addition to the Grizzlies.

Did you read Cnnsi.com's latest mock? If that happens the Raps will be in the final in about 3 years.

1) Bucks - Andrew Bogut
2) Hawks - Marvin Williams
3) Bobcats (Trade 5 and 13 to Blazers for 3) - Deron Williams
4) Hornets - Gerald Green
5) Blazers - Martell Webster
6) Jazz - Felton
7) Raptors - CHRIS PAUL
8 ) Knicks - Frye
9) Warriors - Fran Vazquez
10) Lakers - Charlie Villenueva
11) Magic - Antoine Wright
12) Clippers - Korolev
13) Blazers - Andrew Bynum
14) T-Wolves - Sean May
15) Nets - Joey Graham
16) Raptors - DANNY GRANGER
17) Pacers - Monta Ellis
18 ) Celts - Warrick
19) Grizz - Jarrett Jack
20) Nuggets - McCants
21) Suns - Ukic

Also still pi55ed at the job Babs did in the last draft.

If Milwaukee picks Bogut, they're comitting franchise suicide. They need to take Williams.

T-Dot, you really think those two will make a big impact in the L? I'm curious, because I know next to nothing about either.

Bogut should be the consensus #1. Can't win the NBA Champ. with a swing player unless your name is Jordan. There are maybe 1 or 2 "quality bigs" that come out every year. Bogut is head and shoulders better than any other big. Bogut has skills, dominated the NCAA, and did well internationally.

Williams probably will end up with better career stats, but Bogut has a much better chance to impact on his teams winning%.

Good points, but I was referring to Paul and Granger, whom you predicted would bring a title to Toronto within 3 years were they to play there.

As for Bogut, he's a bust. I mean he's a bust in the same way a center like Brad Miller or Joe Pryzbilla could be considered a bust: he'll be good, but he's not going to dominate -- ever -- in the NBA (and isn't it an indication that the NBA is desperate for quality centers when someone like Brad Miller can be considered the second best center in the west?). At best, Bogut will be a decent addition to a contender a la Brent Barry. For the Bucks to pick him thinking he's going to rejuvinate the franchise is idiocy. Might as well gamble on Williams or some of the other moderately-touted forwards or guards. Then trade Redd for some decent role-players, rebounders, and future picks; and develop Marvin Williams into a starting PG.
