I flew back from THailand in the midst of a Korean tour group. If anyone has ever had this expereince you may understand. In all fairness much of the annoyance probably comes from it having been a tour group where veryone knew each other, rather than it being Korean. It would have been more pleasan had the cute girls beeen sitting next to me, but I had the adoshis |

Try flying for 12 hours from Europe with nothing but Koreans....the worst travel experience of my life
loud, arguing with the stewardesses about smoking, farting kimchi non-stop, rudeness, stinky baby diapers left in the lavatory (open, full of crap on the sink), drunkeness, and so forth
stupid people and peasants should stay home |

And when the plane hits an air pocket, they all scream, "AAAHHAHH!!!" *laugh* *laugh* *laugh* |

Hee hee. Do the adults do that? I know the children do that when they are on a bus for a field trip and they go through a tunnel.
When I have traveled with Koreans on an airplane there seems to be a problem with them smoking in the bathroom. Furthermore it is hard to sleep since there is always some clown clapping their hands to improve circulation.

Those poor flight attendants were haggard looking after that 5 hour flight. |

This is bizarre isn't it...
I saw a woman walking along the road at full spped the other day smacking her heart very vigarously, i thought she was trying to kill herself... |

You haven't lived till you fly from Tahiti to New Zealand with a French rugby team. Koreans could teach them a thing or two about manners and consideration for others. French + free wine + enclosed space = an unhappy me. |

Giving the Koreans an edge over the French in manners doesn't say much. |

As soon as I got through the airport in VN last December I was back in Korea. The only thing disagreeable, even to the Korean flight attendants, who are no doubt familiar with and somewhat embarrassed by this behavior, was the "balli balli" thing of getting out of seats and trying to get out of the plane before it stops. |

I can't stand travelling with Koreans.
My flight from Seoul to Tokyo.. typical Korean airplane experience. All the Koreans jumping up from their seats during take-offs and landings.. frantic stewardesses everywhere telling them to sit down. The Korean ajumma next to me hit her 'stewardess' button about 5 different times during the flight with the stewardess telling her NOT to push that unless they needed her. She was one of about 5-6 others pushing that button during that short flight continuously.
Finally got to Tokyo.. was going through immigration.. had a teenage korean girl bump into me about 20 times waiting in line behind me. She couldn't stand in line properly.
I loathe travel among Koreans. |

at HCMC airport in vietnam this april, i simply plowed through a group of koreans and they didn't seem to even notice me doing it.
the entry visa forms were all gone, and everyone on my flight was looking confused and nonplussed about it.
i walked up to one of the booths and asked for a new pad of forms. being careful to grab 2 for myself, just in case i made a mistake, i walked over to the table where the forms were supposed to be.
i held them aloft and it was every man, woman and child for himself. i filled mine out poste-haste, and was the first through customs.
play the game and you get an edge. |

Same here.
I was on planes with tour groups of Chinese.
The men horked and burped and they, with the women, screamed at friends across the aisles.
I can't believe how goddamn loud and disorderly the Chinese can be and how long it takes them to get seated on a flight.
On the other hand, they're pretty friendly on 1 to 1 basis. |

OMG.. they did that?! That's gross!!!
That's why I refuse to fly with a Korean airline... even if we have enough miles to upgrade us to business/first class.. I insist on flying with an European airline, or Cathay Pacific or Singapore Airlines.
So much nicer. |

Last time I flew here from North America, the pilot announced "Ladies and Gentlemen if you look out the left side of the plane there is a very beautiful view of Mt McKinley, the largest mountain in North America."
So what did the 400 Koreans on the plane do? Run, push and shove through the aisles to the left side to look out the window. Leaned over strangers and opened their windows and woke them up,and pushed the people that were in the seats out of the way so they could see.....
The stewardesses were standing right near me and one of them was FURIOUS, and turned to the other and said "Hasn't he LEARNED by now....not with the Koreans!!!" They spent the next fifteen minutes ushering people back to their seats. |
