My friend sent me these photos of funnel clouds in Southern Alberta from last week. Don't know if they touched down and became tornados.

That one's really cool. A lot more uniformity in colour and height than houses like that normall have. The chuch on the horizon is a nice touch too.

Free World's pictures. Get a photobucket account and save them there. Then your pictures will come up. Hyucalent's right, the third one is the best. It personally looks like Hell to me.

And again, great idea by Rapier. A great thread.

@badmojo... your apartment (if that's what that view is) looks straight at ours across the gulf between Itaewon and Haebanchon. Always wondered what things looked like from the other side.

Here's the view from our neck of the woods. Easter Sunday with the wife's Hot Cross Buns tempting the tastebuds...

One of my favourites in Korea so far... temple off the beaten track near Gyeongju:

Today is a sad day for rock n roll. Two of its legends died on this day, two years apart. Stones founder and guitarist Brian Jones died in 1969 under mysterious circumstances. It might have been a murder, or a suicide, or an accidental drowning, no one knows. And the lead singer of my favourite band, The Doors, died two years later to the day in Paris of an apparent heart attack. Both were only 27.

When Brian died in 1969 Morrison penned a poem about his death, with some of the lines being:

I hope you went out
Smiling
Like a child
Into the cool remnant of a dream
The angelman, with serpents,
Competing for his palms and fingers,
Finally claimed this benevolent soul

Nice stuff.

Jim and his girlfriend

Brian Jones

RIP gentlemen
