I was browsing around the internet today and found a site www.breakingnewsenglish.com that looks like it would be really useful for adult free talking classes. Each day one news item is posted in a short reading. Then someone has gone to the trouble of coming up with a series of discussion activities to go with it. There are several months-worth of articles/lessons posted.

It's worth a look.

I like them but to tell the truth if I use them i'll have to spruce them up a bit.

The materials + some cool pictures and a nicer banner would really make for a decent unit.

Talk about sex.

According to a Korean friend, that's all her YBM teacher would talk about in class because it's all the ajosshis WANTED to talk about in that class.

I'm not joking.

Sounds like a good idea. Isn't there a "sticky" thread for links to sites that can help a teacher out in the classroom?

If not, better write them down somewhere!

Someone posted a list of about 25 sites that someone gave them. What happened to it? (Or did I dream that?)
