Do your 5 year old students run your school? What are they responsible for..making the syllabus, or driving the minivan?

Please reread the question.

I answer your question with another question.

"Would you allow your 5yr old kids to drive your mercedes convertible along highway 9, knowing full well it would result in tragedy, -just so afterwards you could say "at least we let them have freedom for a short while"?

North Korea Declares War on Long Hair
SEOUL, South Korea - The order to shaggy-haired North Korean men couldn't be clearer: Get a trim like Kim. The reclusive communist country is waging a hair war, telling its male population to lose the long locks, cut the coiffures and mow the mane to conform to "socialist style" — no longer than two inches.

The "patriotic quiff": provided free of charge by the state!!. Wisest choice ..ahem..only choice for the average North Korean man.

The word 'racist' gets thrown around all too easily as a means of attacking someone's position. But really, black Africans in the late 20th century are the five-year old kids and the whites are the adults with 'their' mercedes?

Chotaerang:

sadly, black rule in Africa has proved to be a disaster. They were'nt ready for it, simple fact. Not in the modern era. Those of us who were there knew that decades ago: those of you who weren't simply harp on your pet theories about racism etc from your narrow western sociological viewpoints.

Whites were the custodians of Africa, guiding it forward gradually. racism is a word I never even heard until i arrived in the west.

Whites were quite simply, another one of Africas many tribes, and regarded as such. Within zimbabwe you have 2 main black tribes..ethnically and linguistically different. they have and still are oppressing and committing violence upon eachother, raping and stealing eachothers territory. But I suppose thats ok with you, because they have dark skin.

To all those who say black Africans can't run a government, I have one word for you Botswana.

Botswana is one of the economical and political wonder stories of the latter part of the twentieth century. It has the record for longest sustainted economic growth (+10 percent for 35 years) among many other laudable achievements.

A dirt poor, backasswards desert country with a few diamond mines at it's independence from the U.K., it has transferred itself into a thriving and high tech country with the highest per capita income on the continent and is now classified as a developed country by the UN. All achieved by a black democratic government.

Let's include the Middle East (except Israel) and North Korea on this list. The common denominator is not blackness, but kleptomaniac thugs spreading misery far and wide.

As for preferentially heaping blame upon whites, this is untrue. I'll not miss any chance to condemn the Arab dictatorship of the Sudan for Darfur. At the same time, citing examples of Africans poor treatment of other Africans does not get whites off the hook for slavery, white-minority rule, and carving up Africa into an assortment of countries where tribal rivalries set the future states up for failure.

This is admirable.....however,

AIDS is chopping down the population and is becoming a huge problem in this country..it easily has the highest prevelance rate in the world at 37.9%. That is more than 1 in 3 people you would meet had HIV or AIDS.
http://www.nationmaster.com/graph-T/hea_hiv_aid_adu_pre_rat&int=-1

What is worse is almost 2% of children have HIV/AIDS as well which bodes ill for future generations...what about all the pent up frustrations...
http://www.nationmaster.com/graph-T/hea_chi_liv_wit_aid_cap

Seriously Botswana is in big trouble.....

Slavery was started in Africa by Arab traders.
Seriously, in Zimbabwe, there are still ancient mooring posts for Arab dhows visible along the Runde river, for example. Africans co-operated in the trade, selling their own people for beads and weapons, etc.

Tribal rivalries were big before whites arrived, and would have continued unabated if whites had not brought law and order. As for the random border demarcations drawn up by European colonists, this wouldn't have made much difference to long term tribalism.

Right. This is a burden of guilt that Arabs and Africans bear. The burden of guilt that we (whites) bear is in exponentially expanding the size of the slave trade all the while claiming that we were bringing civilization to benighted Africa.

I don't think there's more to say about this legacy of greed, racism, and self-serving hypocrisy. The last word on the subject is yours.
