Last sets for Round 2. Curious who made the cuts this round? Well, we took the top 2 of every group, and any extremely close 3rd place finisher to get the magic and workable number of 48 contestants left.

After this round we'll be down to 24.. and then we'll have a round where we do 3 contestants eliminating the one with the least votes bringing us down to 16 finalists. From there we'll do one-on-one contests from 16 down to our Dave's Final Miss Universe winner.

Here are the winners of Round 1 - Albania, Aruba, Australia, Bahamas, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Georgia, Germany, Guatemala, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, Latvia, Lebanon, Mexico, Namibia, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Russia, Serbia, Slovak Repubic, Slovenia, South Africa, Switzerland, Thailand, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Venezuela and Vietnam.

For Round 2.. as we have 48 contestants.. just to give them different competitors, so it'll be alphabetically organized with the 1st, 13th, 25th and 37th (or essentially every 12th will be their competitors for Round Two).

Without any further delays.. presenting the first set of ROUND TWO..

Miss Denmark - Gitte Hanspal

Miss Italy - Maria Teresa Francville

Miss Philippines - Gionna Cabrera

Miss Vietnam - Hang Thu Pham

Ms. Denmark kind of looks like that hooker who hangs out the door from that Nymph bar in Itaewon, across the street from Whatthebook.

Come eeeennnside!!! Very Happy

Agreed. And they should ALL report to me, every midnight, for punishment for their ugliness.

They are not ugly. It's just hard to tell from a few photos. We are just voting on photos here. I bet if you could meet them in person, they'd look better. Actually I like Denmark and Vietnam in this one, giving the edge to VN>

I know why Miss Vietnam is winning - because I suffer from the same malady as all of you pervs who voted for her. But hey, I've been there twice and the country has lots better to offer than her. Like the (Vietnamese) flight attendant I met on the KAL - who gave me her phone number without even being asked for it. [Footnote: I don't think my one bedroom apt. with a mattress on the floor and no furniture impressed her too much- that was the first and last date]

Anyway.. in what feels like a slight betrayal, I vote for Italy for youthfulness and extra slim bod.
