For all you Miguks out there. Anyone want to get together for the 4th of July. Someone posted a thread here awhile back but it disappeared. I live in Bucheon, but Seoul is also an option. Anyone is welcome...even Canadians Wink

is there any big event for us americans? i mean, us non-GI types, i guess. i'm cool with hanging out with GIs but i don't wanna go to any army sponsored party. anyways, i know we're outnumbered 10 to 1 by the canucks, but there's gotta be a little something for us right? if not, *beep* it, let's grill out.

I'd be up for grilling some salmon or pork chops, maybe even steaks. I can make a mean potato salad as well. Anyone else interested?

The 4th is a Monday, right? Are you going to do something for the weekend, or on Monday night?

I'm interested if it's on Sunday.

Yeah, Sunday would probably be better. I personally don't care either way. I would just like to hang out and do something. Too bad we can't get any roman candles here. We could chase each other around shooting roman candles or bottle rockets.

You can get both, and very cheaply. I just don't know where.

At New Year's the streets downtown are jammed with people and a lot of them are running around having Roman Candle shoot-outs with each other. Ask a Korean friend for info.

Actually, you just asked a load of twaddle about going out with your friends. I wanted to know what was so special about the 4th of July as a day/date. Is it some kind of Chuseok for homosexual Americans?

How about July 5th? I can make July 5th. Anything for a studmuffin who looks like Van Morrisson.

I think HA prefers twaddle loads.

Anyway, my friend mentioned he is planning to stock up on fireworks for the 4th, so I'll ask him where to purchase some.

Please PM me with a phone number and some details. It sounds like fun.

Along the river fronts, there used to be all sorts of little shacks that sold a variety of things including fireworks. I would be up for something on Sunday....
