But no, I still don't "get it". Hence the request for pictures. Otherwise, I shall continue to think you're talking about making car licence plates, which I understand is illegal to make prisoners do in some states. (Though I wasn't aware this activity was expressly addressed in the Bible. Which version?) |
Dude, she's talking about his wanting to ride the hershey highway. |

Yes. It's a small town (some say "hole in the wall") in central Pennsylvania. Ride the back country roads to find it. I suppose you should be burning rubber to get there. |

Yes, I've just Google-mapped it, and I note that it's home to Beaver Bend Par 3 Golf Course. (Seriously, it is.) I wonder if Periwinkle would object if her B/F wanted her to "go there"... |

I could say so, so much. I choose not to. This is a sign of maturity, or so I am told by various nearly-deceased people. |

Sorry this guy is just bad news. He's going to either live with you as you or ditch him.
Seems to me that you should get this stuff ironed out before you get married and thus legally bound to this buttmunch. Don't think that by somehow staying with him you can turn him into a better person. He has to do that for himself. Life's too short to be treated like crap |

He, he. Buttmunch. He's backed off (he, he, he) about all that nasty stuff. Thanks for your advice. I am seriously thinking about it. You know, he wants me to go over to his house this weekend to clean. His mother is 68, but she's super-healthy, and strong as an ox. Is it normal for Korean women to go over to their future in-laws house to clean BEFORE marriage? I've got no problem helping out, but I don't want to be treated like a slave.
About the in through the out door stuff... Guys! Do you really like to do this? It seems so gross to me. My friend is gay, and he doesn't even like it. Do many korean girls do this? I'm not into pain, so... Man, really- I would rather live alone for the rest of my life than submit to THAT. Ewwwwwwww! I mean, owwwwwwwww! |

I wouldn't have ANY sex life if I was talking about our sex life on the net. My wife would have done some lopping a long time ago.

Thanks for the clarification. NOW I get it Well, the fiance doesn't read this site. However, he knows I hang out here quite a bit, and he doesn't like it. He wouldn't give me a concrete answer when I asked him why. Maybe he thinks we do a lot of K bashing. If he would fill me in on Korean news, then I wouldn't have to come here to find-out what's going on!! (Thanks R.R.- I'm too lazy to read the paper) |

NO AND NO AND NO.....Don't do this. You do it once it will be expected of you now and forever. I am married to a Korean man and I can tell you this kind of stuff has to be nipped in the bud.
One of our biggest problems is the mother-in-law. There is some bad blood now and I don't go there if I can help it...and usually I can.
Helping is one thing but this will become your life before you know it. One of the teachers here at my school goes to her mother-in-law's house EVERY sunday to clean and cook. She has no time to herself she is frequetly on the verge of tears.
I don't know but I would give this some REAL HARD thinking. You better make sure that he understands you are not korean and you will not be treated like a "korean" daughter-in-law. It is not a happy lot for women sometimes in this country.
