I don't like the term bible-beater. They pick and choose little snippets of the bible rather than beat it as a whole.

You also know well I hate the terms left and right.

I think I'm going to take a pass on the opportunity to compare an Ayatollah, the president of the US and two terrorists using terms I never use.

Derrek's the kind of guy who is sure he can manipulate another guy into a response by calling him cowardly, which is what the color yellow apparently means to him.

What a tool.

wow, good point. I made 3 or 4 posts on one thread. And there are what, 55 threads currently discussing Bush???

HE IS THE PRESIDENT OF THE MOST POWERFUL COUNTRY ON EARTH. Many of us come from the United States. Many of us border the United States. Come on, what do you expect? Pretty hard to discuss current events in North America w/out bringing his name up.

Exactly. I think it would be odder for intelligent people posting in a current events forum (which means a lot of the discussion is about politics) not to make constant comment on the elephant sitting in the room--especially when the elephant is not dozing quietly in a corner.

Did the ancient Germanic tribes talk about current events without mentioning Caesar? Would educated Indians have discussed politics in 1890 without constant recourse to Queen Vic and her prime ministers? America is great, America is powerful, America gets put under the microscope more than other nations because America matters. Bush doubly so--he's an aggressive leader who has no qualms about pissing people off. Like him or hate him, he's doing his best to get attention.

A thread about Bush tying his shoe is not important. A thread about Bush's latest speech, comment or policy action is. Most threads in the current events forum appear to be about the latter.

Bush is a boring little daddies boy tunning arguably the most important country in the world. He is an agressive scumbag, payrolled by immoral pieces of living faeces.

I'm bored with him now. If he cheats his way to a third election then I'd suggest that all nuclear holding countries just take out where he is in a tactical strike.

I was very disappointed with the US people for voting for this shadow of a man a second time.

Just part of the territory of being President.

That is true however , Saddam was trying to kill Americans (among others)

Americans died because the Bathists , Khomeni lovers and the followers of Bin Laden teach hate, fund Al Qaida, incite violence, and plan terror.

They have to give up their war. If they don't want to give up their war then the US is justified in doing anything and everything to force them to.

Bush has got to be the person people love to hate. I mean, if you hate the guy so much, why do you keep talking about him??? To fuel your hatred? To make yourself feel better?? that post about killing bush and others like it are just rediculous. I usually try and keep people I don't like out of my head, I don't constantly think about them, or how to kill them.

How has the been working out for you, sportskimberly?
