Most koreans have never seen real cleavage before, are shocked at the sight of handholding in the street, and get out of control at the sight of an exposed elbow.
And you expect their kids to not take a second look at images like this?
I'm not saying its hardcore shocking stuff. But we all know the denial and inhibitions Koreans bestow on their kids and pretend to hold onto even as adults.
pathetic I know, considering that prostitution is their biggest industry behind cellphones, but get real for a minute: its close enough to porn to cause trouble if you bring it into a kiddie hagwon. I and most other teachers wouldn't: you're only going to cause trouble for yourself. |

I agree with you about all of this, and I've even said so several times.
Of course you never said it was "hardcore stuff". What you said was that it's "softcore porn", which it isn't. All this is irrelevant to what I said. |

I think of porn as pictures or writing that are intended and used to sexually arouse and stimulate. So it seems that the pictures in Maxim would qualify as some type of porn.
And it isn't a long way from porn that is legally available in Korea.
You can see more in Playboy than in Korean porn. |

| If these K idiots had seen real porn before then there would be no questions or problems here. |
In all fairness, the original boys who saw it were like 6 or 7 years old. I wouldn't expect them to know what porn is and isn't.
Others were right, and I should've considered this scenario before bringing it to school with me.

Noooot gonna happen, lol. That's totally unnecessary. |
With the first point I wasn't refering to the students, I was refering to the teachers. I can understand how the kids may 'think' it's porn, they just need to be told by an adult that it's not.
Hope your situation all works itself out. Though I fear it won't just so they can think tehy have ammo on you in case they want to screw you over in the future. |

Let's not get trying to define porn, for centuries people and goverenments have tried and never once have we come to an agreement.
Pircture or writing that are intended sexual stimulation...."sounds like every commercial I've seen", Bill Hicks.
hmmmm and there your argument would be floored. |

I gotta admire someone that quotes Bill Hicks to make a point! He had plenty of good ones, indeed. |
