Do you, by chance, have sensitive skin?
This is one of the reasons that I don't go to the saunas (besides the fact that I refuse to be naked in front of Koreans who stare at me enough when my clothes are ON). I have super sensitive skin and that's exactly what happens to my skin if I go into a hot tub that isn't the nth degree of clean. All the little teeny tiny micro-organisms that don't bother people with normal skin wreak havoc on mine. ICK.  |
