Does anyone have any experience or know anything about shipping a motorcycle from one city to another in Korea? I am in Daejeon and would like to have a motorcycle shipped to me from Seoul.

Are there companies that specialize in this?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I had my motorbike shipped from Taebaek to Joam (5-6 hours away)
cost 50,000.

Just ask a Korean they should know a transport company.

Talk to your local motorcycle shop, they can hook you up with bulk freighters that specialize in shipping things like motorcycles.

I shipped a motorcycle from Sokcho to Incheon for 35k won.

Wow, this is good to know. I always figured I'd get a flatbed truck, but Taekbae would be safer.

If you're just shipping it within or across town, that's the way to go, flag down Mr Kim's Rent-A-Bongo.

I helped a friend Bongo a scooter across Bucheon. Cost 15k.

+1 That's why those wheels are there!

BUT... if you'd really rather ship it.... try Chun-il cargos - you might need someone who speaks Korean to call for you.

Yes, it would be easy if we were allowed to ride on the damn highways.

As it is, riding on the backroads, while scenic, takes a long ass time.
