Fears sparked after huge explosion heard in women's toilet
SAPPORO -- Customers were evacuated from the Sapporo Tokyu Store Thursday after an explosion was heard in a women's toilet, police said.
Nobody was injured in the blast, though smoke was seen billowing out from behind the toilet doors, Sapporo Fire Department officials said.
Police said the apparent explosion occurred at the Tokyu Store Makomanai outlet just before 1 p.m. Police said they are investigating the cause of the blast. (Mainichi)
