It doesn't sound *too* out of line. A couple things, though: are the Saturday classes just bundled into the package? Is there something to guarantee that they won't continue beyond four months, or if they do, you'll get overtime? (I assume you wouldn't be asking for comments if you absolutely refused to work Saturdays.)

The hours aren't bad at all for 2.0 mil - the downside is the Saturday classes. Will you be teaching Saturday classes right after you arrive? You might want that time to get used to the school, where you're living, etc. You might also check to see what method it takes to get to your school within 5-10 minutes. Walking? Bus? Subway? Speeding Nascar? I've run into the 5-10 minute thing from lots of schools. Then it turns out that things are a bit more complicated than that.

If it matters to you, make sure to nail down whether it's single OR shared accomodation. You might ask about overtime pay, and if it's over 96 hours a month or 120 hours, since this is a more convential teaching amount.

I'd also ask why they haven't been able to get someone lined up sooner. In case they hadn't noticed, the end of July is nearly upon us. Do they have a runner? Bad planning? Emergency? No one willing to take the Saturday classes without additional reassurance?

Doesn't seem terrible. Pose some of the questions that the previous poster mentioned to a current teacher/recruiter/boss. If it's a YBM/SISA kid's place, I think their std is about that many hours. WRT the Saturdays, you'll probably have to do some sort of speech contest or spelling bee each quarter or something, but it wouldn't hurt to ask some more questions. Usually places are a bit busier during the summer and winter vacations(July/August and January/February), so they may have you doing some extra Saturday classes during those times. Not sure which of these two situations they may be referring to though. Maybe the latter makes more sense? Make sure you ask more about the housing. Ask them exactly what they're planning to give you. Some of places here are awful while others are quite nice. The same goes with roommates. Check your contract carefully for what they will tax you, their pension plan, and their overtime/dress code/quitting/dismissal/other workplace policies.

From what I could find from a search on Mapquest, it seems like Guri/Kuri is about 30-35kms from downtown Seoul. Not too far. A little north-east of Seoul, if that helps.

3. Numbers of foreign teachers at school? 3

Contact numbers? Email addresses?

4. Student age? Elementary , Middle School
5. Class size? 12~15
6. Teaching hours (class schedules please)? Mon.Wed,Fri Am 11:00 ~ Pm 7: 30
Tue,Thu Pm3:00 ~ Pm7:30

Something doesnt click with the 96 classes a month line. the hours add up to 36.5 hours but 96/4=24 classes a week. What are you going to be doing for 12 hours a week?

7. Saturday class? 2hours lecture between Pm 2:00 ~ Pm 5:00 for 4months

Take this with a grain of salt...chances are those classes will continute year long.

8. Distance between accommodation and the school? 5-10min
9. Salary range? 2.0 million won
10. Health insurance coverage? YES
11. Description of accommodation? Single housing and shared room

Which is it? Single accomodation or shared?

12. Round trip air ticket? Yes
13. ohter info ? 96hours teaching per month.

Thats all I have to say about that!
