Anyone have some good ideas on what to use to protect your face? Korea seems to have a million products saying they can improve your skin, but it's not easy to discern the posers from the proven.

Clinique is pretty well known for quality skin care both here and at home. I've been using their products for the last few months and it's good stuff.

I'm a NuSkin junkie myself. I worked for the company a few years back and got hooked on free 'product.' When I left I signed up as a distributor so I could get it cheaper. Very Happy

Use urine on your skin? Why?

Hey, this is the same post you left on the laundry detergent thread!

And hey, hey, hey! Two Mysteriousdeltaray sightings in ONE NIGHT!! A new record!

I heard that dog urine will work as a disinfectant on scrapes when you're outdoors and far from home. But what if there's no dog around? Or what if there is, but he's scary? I don't care if it works, I'm not poking around the back end of a scary dog trying to get him to pee on my scraped elbow. I could well see a nasty bite AND the scrape you had from before. But what if it's your own dog -- then what? You have to follow him around and wait for him to pee?

I use Lancome, Chanel and Elizabeth Arden mainly... although I do use other stuff too.

For cheaper things, Kanebo's Raphael (sp.) line is pretty good and not too expensive.

i think i mentioned this on another thread a while ago, but the korean beauty stores like "the face shop" and "missha" work great for me. it's good quality stuff for a quarter of the price of clinique, which i used to use. i lost faith in clinique....was dropping $20 every month and a half on a bar of soap, not to mention toner and other things....my face was a mess. now it's lavender foam wash from the face wash (green tea is good too) for $5 Shocked .

a tip, this site: www.acne.org is great for skin care tips. although a lot of it is geared at people with bad acne, there are some forums where people swap tips on products, remedies, etc. check out the message boards. i found it helpful.

I discovered this wonderful facial masque made from red clay and pine blossoms--Hwangto Solimyok. My boss gets it for me from the home shopping network. I saw a lady wearing it in the bathhouse yesterday. It makes my skin bright and firm. Also I love the Juk Yeom (bamboo salt) soap made by LG. Unfortunately the supermarket I used to by it with has replaced it with a brand that smells like hair remover so I'm looking for another source.

I am most curious to learn what "The Beaver " and "Hansen" use? Perhaps it is because of their close relationship with a Korean woman, or they are metrosexuals? Anyway, I want to knopw what product they usually wear as I need something for my wrinkly skin.

Yeah, something like that.

Shocked Well, I reckon it's nothing too frilly, but how the hell would I know? If you're really interested, I suggest you take these matters up with them in private chatrooms.
