i know i asked this before but i was curious cuz i do it in the states a little.

a friend of mine is out in korea right now and his cousin told me he actually trains with some high profile professionals and that sorta made sense, given the fact that all that MMA/rip-you-2-shreds stuff is really big in japan. and i noticed that a lot of thai fighters competed in some muay thai thing in korea recently in the last year or so. if any of you DO do that stuff or know...

what's it like over there? is it a big thing? in cali, we got a pretty good concentration of high profile fighters. korea the same way or no?

AFAIK Henry is no longer teaching (he was doing some casual training on an airforce base last I heard) due to work commitments, though it may be he is but hasn't told me because he doesn't like me, not sure.... noone I know has seen or heard from him in months. you can email him at henry_jung<at>hotmail.com to check though as he is definitely a good guy.

Good for you, has this thread been re-labelled "post random words" or something? I'm confused I'm going back to watching Bushido.

No, not really. I take my mma with me when I go to Korea. My mother's Korean.

In the USA, impressive that you can watch it despite being on a 7 day tape delay.......................... http://www.pridefc.com/pride2004/03_ppv.htm :p

BTW, I was out so set the VCR. I have no idea how this has turned into a flame war so rapidly..............

No war. I wish I was in Japan to watch it live, rather than staying up late Sat. night, feeling grumpy.
