Pork has been taken off for quite some time. Mexicans and Korean love to eat pork. Me too. Pork has been taken off the menu however at Iteawon's favorite Taco eatery. Why? |

endoftheworld not stupid at all, that label remains firmly with dulouz. I suggest he asks the restaurant why they no longer serve pork. It's just a guess but I'd imagine they would be more likely to know the reason than the posters at Daves. |

I don't think endofthewor1d's post looks dumb even if they did move the thread. Just take it seriously and read it with a straight face -- not dumb at all.
BTW, I think that restaurant owner was, ahem, politely persuaded to show more respect for religious prohibitions of certain foods by the new masters of Itaewon. At least I like to think so.

Guru, beat me to the joke. If I ask Mr. Korean who lived in Mexico City for two years, were you persuaded by those who cannot eat pork to discontinue serving pork I do not think I would get a straight answer.
Not eating pork is not that simple. To be fair, I had a Jewish friend that would not eat pork. Not only did he not eat pork, he belittled the meat and the practice and those who ate pork.
Again, not eating pork is not that simple. Purists will not eat from a pan that has cooked pork nor will they use a fork or a spoon that has served pork. Pork leaves juice, that is pork. Cutting pork on a cutting board and then cutting beef on the same board violates the rule. Purists also cannot touch pork, not even with rubber gloves. Etc. |

No way. Dave's posters know everything. Haven't you noticed?

Maybe the manager was taking an English class in the mornings
and mistook the off-site owner's instructions when he said no "pork".
A theory.
Check to see if they have forks. |

yeah, blame the muslims dude. they're responsible for everything that's wrong with this world, including the crime of being deprived of pig at a taco stand. Since you know, muslims are more likely to eat at that stand than any other group. Muslims and mexican food go hand-in-hand and all. |
