but now they wish it wasn't.

Seriously, I have been here three years and the summers seem to get hotter and hotter. I take a shower and as soon as I go outside it feels like I need another shower.

Is it just me?

No, it's not just you. I was told before coming here that it would be hot and humid in the summer but this is just plain stupid. I'm up to 2 showers a day myself, right when I leave for work and right when I get back.

I thought my first year here was hellishly hot, I could barely breathe, it never seemed to cool down etc.

Last year wasnt bad, being in Taebaek up in the mountains the summers were pretty mild.

this year isnt bothering me much at all...of course quitting drinking and dropping 20 kg helps too.

Yeah, they make such a big deal about Korea having four seasons, but it's just a place that suffers extreme weather. Very cold winters, spring was cold, too, and summer feels like the planet Venus. Looking forward to fall, though. Can't go wrong with fall, I hope.

I was told the reason they make a big deal of having 4 seasons is because they are so extreme and different.

But I still hate the summer.

I also heard they are expecting this to be the hottest summer in XX decades... not a good sign.

You big pussies!!!!!!

Suck it up...I love how the Candians wilt and complain about the heat

Another 2 months of this yet and it will get a little worse....maybe another 2 or 3 degrees hotter but the summer nights haven't even started yet...this week

Let's see in winter I got so sick that I couldn't leave my house for a week and had numerous serious asthma attacks due to small colds that went straight to my lungs.

It may be hot in summer, but I don't get really sick so I know which one I prefer

where I come from in canada the temperature is hotter than it is here. The humidity, though, is much higher here. The heat doesn't bother me near as much as the humidity does. Anyways its not that bad. last summer I went jogging everyday despite the heat. This summer my knees are bad from last summers jogging so I am not jogging any more.

Extreme my ass. In a good year maybe a 45 degree temperature difference between the high and low.

It's fucking hot, but it's the humidity that sucks ass.
