yeah, if you like the M2 scene!

its amazing how they keep bringing the same DJ"S over and over again
to play in a venue which is like partying in a BARN! listening to PVD or zabiela in M2 is just wrong!
cant wait to hit IBIZA in 6 weeks..!!! where listening to Superstar DJ'S in clubs that were mean to be played in with a crowd that is exploding!
doubt very much I will ever go back to M2.. its just a sad club!!

sorry to burst your bubble, itaewonguy, but Ibiza these days is also tired and repetitive. the party has long been over, over there...unless you like coke.

i've seen dimitri in worse places, and still enjoyed his style.

I don't understand all the hate M2 gets. Yeah, its not the best venue in the world but it is the best club in Korea I have found. Also, yes they have brought some of the same djs, but is seeing zabiela(by the way his new cd is great, you should dl or by it) and Lee Burridge twice that bad? If you like the dj why would you not go see them? I would go see Burridge if he was playing Aisle 3 at Walmart, because he is that good. That being said I don't really go to M2 if there is no big name there.

bringing in a dj once a year is acceptable.

the party was alright. the music was good, but the vibe and attitude of most people was AWFUL. they need a bigger space.

someone needs to open another a club!
I mean ONE CLUB!!???
come on!! my home town in wellington city population 150.000 has way more clubs than 1 superclub . I mean M2 is the only club that holds almost 1000 people.. thats a JOKE!!!
sure you have joker, Mi, cargo, MGW etc.. very small clubs!!
but only ONE sized as M2!! thats just wrong!!
what hongdae needs is atleast 2 or 3 more clubs the size of M2 to put some variety in the scene.. clubs with different decor, different vibe, better/different design but still grand scale! and playing true EDM..

M2 is over crowded and the design is the worst I have ever seen in a club!
its just an ugly club! sure its the only club in korea which is bringing over a steady line of Hot Dj's.. and for that yeah M2 is the best!
but as soon as someone else opens a club of the same scale and brings over superstar Djs too.. M2 will be dead! or atleast an alternative..
I hate going to hondae and the only having one option of a grand scale club! you go to Tokyo you have many many cool grand scale clubs!
so for now M2 will shine and make millions of dollars for the owners!
but in the next couple years im sure someone will open a superclub and kick M2 .. I mean the people need more than one club! when I heard Otwo was opening a club I thought WOW its gonna be awesome!
but noooo.. they did it all wrong , a waste really.. nothing more than another MI or joker!

sorry to burst your bubble mate! but IBIZA is still the NUMBER 1 place in the world Dj's want to play! you wont find clubs like PACHA, or AMNESIA so easily in the world. THE summer line up at IBIZA is just unvbelievable!
all the top DJs in the world play at these events! why? becuase there are sell out crowds of 6000 people per club. IBIZA is more than just a clubbing experience!
sorry dude but who ever told you IBIZA is dead doesnt have a clue what he is talking about!!
The numbers grow every year to IBIZA over 2 million visitors just over the summer! now if thats dead.. then I think I have been living under rock!

I think what the eye means is that IBIZA is no longer fresh and innovative, I agree and think that it's too commercial now.........I remember when.....

well there are still millions and millions of people/ clubbers who have not been there before and its still an amazing experience!
talk about fresh??? tell me where something fresh is? what?. is going there once, mean its not fresh anymore.?

cyprus, mikanos, ibiza, kao pangnang,
or events like burningman, bigday out, mardi gras, are old and not fresh and tired.. just becuase something has been going for more than 20years doesnt mean its still not a great party.. sure its old and repetitive if you go every year for 5 years and you might get sick of it..
but what if you have never been before?

I was at M2 and well, Dimitri didn't play at his best that night. Maybe I'm too picky but a lot of what he played was too borderline with trance and techno.

My personal favorite is the disco disciple DJ, Joey Negro.

funny you mention Burning Man, and Full Moon, because they also suck.

i visited your fabled partyground, IbiZa 2 years ago. i'm not just reporting what others have said.

sure there were tens of thousands of people there....so what? it was tired. not because it's old, but because of the reasons people go there...because it's "Ibiza" and because of the drugs.
most people i came across, kindof freaked me out, to tell you the truth...lots of empty souls and aggression. it was an experience, and i'm glad i went, but i wish i had gone back in the day, when the vibe was more genuine. i'm just trying to tell you that the Ibiza you hear about and the Ibiza that exists are totally different places.

Ibiza is tired now because it's basically driven by drugs. It's repetitive because they reolve around the same Dj's...the very thing you criticized M2 for doing.
Dj's play there for the money amd exposure, not because it's THE PLACE to play.

Burning Man : nothing but a spectator sport, i was there in 2001. the biggest thing i remember was that there were more perverts with video cameras than there were actual participants with something to contribute to the event. it costs an arn and a leg and it's commercialized like a movie theater.

And, Full Moon... gimme a KitKat, the thought of this event being included in your list of 'good parties', makes me wonder why you dislke M2 in the first place..
