1. School address? Bucheon city (Wonmi, jungdong)
2. Expected Arrival time: end of July 2005
3. Numbers of foreign teachers at school? English (1)
4. Student age? Kindergarten (30%), Elementary (70%)
5. Class size? 8~12
6. Teaching hours (class schedules please)? 1) AM 10:00 ~ PM5:00 or PM6:00
7. Saturday class? NO weekend classes
8. Distance between accommodation and the school? 10min
9. Salary range? 1,800,000 ~2,000,000 won
10. Health insurance coverage? YES
11. Description of accommodation? Single housing(non-shared)
12. Round trip air ticket? Yes
13. Vacation? 10 day
14. Other info?

Gonna demand at least 2.0 million, other than that it seems O.k but you guys know more than me, so any pointers would be safe

Looks okay. The schedule looks quite good but you should ask exactly how many hours per week are expected. As others have mentioned before, try to call that one current teacher and talk with them to see what they have to say.

Don'tmake the mistake of assuming that there will be one OTHER teacher. You will probably be the only foreign teacher at this school. That being said, I am the only foreing teacher and things are going great! It's not a problem at all.

I was referring to the one that's most likely leaving, but good point. OP, you'll be by yourself for nearly a whole year. At least when it comes to having other foreign co-workers.

strangely, all has gone quiet.

I'm still new to this process but I'm beginning to realise how ass backwards they do everything. I keep getting sent contracts which aren't consistant with the information I've been given e.g. housing. I think their getting wise to the fact that I'm not gonna take any old SH!T.

Mainly thanks to you guys. Thanks for all the advice, I'm sure I'll need more at some point.
