How much tax would someone earning in the region of 2.2/2.3M Won a month have to pay? And how much Pension would one have to pay?
Also, can anyone tell me how much Health Insurance coverage is? Any links in English would be great. |

Real Reality,
Thank you very much for the info. Seems like quite a bit of cash that's gonna come out. Plus I'm not North American so I won't get any of that pension back when I eventually leave Korea. Is there anything I should be given by my school such as documents once I've been signed up, to prove that I've been paying tax, pension, health care etc? |

You will be issued a health card that looks like a little fold-up booklet in a plastic cover. Stick it in your wallet and show it to the receptionist whenever you visit a doctor's office.
Check the date on it. You have to renew it from time to time. |
