Oh my god, they made the foreigners huddle up in cages!! Hey, is that Jason Biggs?

The horde escapes!

What's up with all the clothed, non-mudded people in the background?

Looks like fun...

Yah, i'm here now right as we speak. Also happen to be one of the non-mudded folks you don't see in the background *shrugs*

While i'm not usually much of a drinker, a bunch of us tied on a good one at an outside sool-jeeb last night.

FYI - accomodations prices have been jacked up considerably ( like more than double the normal goin rate ).

All around not a bad time ... i suppose Cool

It was alright. It was good to spend time with friends and watch one of our friends play music on stage, but the rain sucked....it just never stopped! And we all got there after 1:30pm and there was really not that much mud. I had to scrape it off the ground pretty much, and what the was up the that long line of people just waiting to go down that slide? The thing that really p*ssed me off were some of the damn Korean ajeoshis/guys who thought this was the perfect time to harass western girls. I had one pervert slap me on the a** and say "oh hi, I love speaking English!" WTF!
I wasn't impressed with the bar area. My group and I went out for galbi and the place ran out of galbi and rice, so 10 of us were fighting for 2 servings! I heard pretty much places around were running out of food. Then the rain hit hard and that sucked. The nightlife was kind of sad. People were waiting in line to get into a bar, where they can go to the top and look (and spit) at people below. Maybe I just got stuck in the bad areas.
The fireworks were really cool. Much better than I expected.
It was fun to be with friends but I don't think I would go to the next one. However, Daejeon beach itself is really cool and I'd love to go back when there are not as many people and just relax out on the sand.
Still, it was nice to get out of the "daily" life in Korea.

it was pretty fun. I was expecting big hass mud pits that people could slip and slide through. As it turns out two inflatable rubber pools (one on bricks) were as close as it comes to that. Fun tackling and stuff but not the same as running and sliding and stuff.
Also they were tragically short of paint...i mean mud. And having to apply with paint brushes...? Man we should be gettin filthy.

One of these things that had LOADS of potential but ended up being basically just a pretty good time.
The weather was blazing on sunday and the water was really REALLY nice.

did anyone see me? I had the white dog...
