Fuji Finepix F710 - Great piece of gear!
I bought mine just over a year ago and it had among the highest number of Megapixels without going to the big professional-type cameras.
The widescreen is great for photos and even better for video clips. |

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I was actually wondering whether cameras are still more expensive in SK than in the US. I have an old camera (6 MP, 12x zoom) and I wanted to get another long-zoom camera. I like taking scenic pictures, but I don't think I will need an SLR (too expensive and photography isn't a hobby).
As I'm going to be moving to Korea next February, I'm already buying a bunch of stuff, and I'm kinda wondering if it's worthwhile to plunk down the money now or to wait until I have some excess money down the road in Korea. If they are more expensive, what's the breakdown; is it reasonable ($200 in the US vs $230 in Korea) or insane ($200 in the US vs $350 in Korea)? |

What 'gear' do you want to buy? I would say that the US would be cheaper and you have more choice. There's also the warranty to consider. I'm not sure if something bought in the states would be covered in Korea, but I might be wrong about that.
Maybe have a look on www.gmarket.com and compare the prices. |
