16/20 but should have done better as I was distracted by 2 phone calls and missed the video for 2 of smiles. Anyhow I knew about the eyes and wrinkles from a discovery show I watched about 2 months ago.

I got 15/20. I thought that I probably got about about 8 right. I guess it's hard to fail when you have a 50/50 shot at each answer.

What a waste of time. Coding system.

18/20 was better than I thought I would do.
Thanks for that, Mr. Dude. I enjoyed myself.

The subjects were pretty easy to read because they seemed to be responding to some obvious cues, i.e., people offscreen saying something funny, then instructing them to put on a straight face. The fake smilers were more likely to look straight at the camera. One of them didn't smile with her eyes at all.. very creepy.

I confess I was a little biased when I saw the Asian girl-- I immediately assumed she would be a faker because of the countless times I've watched Koreans posing for pictures and even practising their smiles into their own cameras.

The biggest giveaway, I thought, was the shoulder movement of the subjects. If they were genuinely amused, they tended to shake their shoulders a little as they chuckled.

Interesting stuff. I messed up on the blond girl at the beginning and the white-haired guy at the end.

16/20 You can tell by the eyes if it is a real smile, some of the videos really didn't give you enough time.

Interesting website.
