For those who arrived from the states...
Any suggestions on cheap last minute flights? Websites, travel agents... etc? The best I could find was USD 703.00 one way to Seoul. I thought that seemed a bit high but it is high season and it is last minute!

I think the cheapest tickets from North America to Korea can be booked through Korean-American agents in New York City (or maybe L.A. if you're closer to the West coast). The best agent I found was Asia Tours and Travel, 347 5th Ave., rm. 1205 NY 10016 phone: 212-685-2662. Other agents maybe worth contacting are Arirang Travel Services, Inc. (212-563-3350) and Asia Budget Travel, Inc. (212-213-9818) I helped a teacher book a flight to the hogwan I was working at a couple years ago and a one-way ticket from Chicago was less than $600 (through Asia Tours and Travel). |
