I was lamenting yesterday that I didn't bring enough summer casual clothes to Korea... mostly I brought long sleeve shirts and business casual things b/c I thought the hagwon might expect a degree of professionalism (LOL) and I've been sweating. Anyway I was in Gangnam to get a birthday gift for a friend and discoverd that WHO.A.U. and Eigenpost are both having clearance sales with tee shirts going for 5000 won each. I picked up a bunch. Nothing too fancy but good material and they'll be nice and cool for my vacation. Just a heads up to those of you who might like a sale... |

Those powerful Korean washers that swoosh water around and around? My gawd you wouldn't wanna get your hand in there with all that water swooshing around.
Some of my students from a while back were bragging about their powerful machines here destroying their clothes. I was thinking, "maybe it's the cheap clothes." I was saying, "yeah, those Korean machines kick ass." |

Are there any other stores in Seoul offering summer sales? Perhaps in the Shinchon/Myeong Dong/Dongdaemun area?
I need some new T-shirts. |
