You know one of the big complaints about Korea is how hard it is to buy a big towel. The kind you can wrap around your whole body. Korea department stores all seem to sell small towels. I was in Myeong Dong and I noticed a street vendor was selling big big beach towels. Might be a good solution if you're looking for a decent sized towel. |

If its really important for you to have a big towel, you could just have some small ones sewn together. I do that with the blankets here. I like big towels, I can't remeber where I got mine, I think I bought it with me.
I like the wash cloths here, the ones that are made of that synthetic material. The invention was actually an important advancement in home accessories. |

They're big, but they're often ill-made and not very absorbant--you might as well try drying off with a balloon. The one I bought from a street vendor in Sinchon when I was young and dumb (i.e. 2 years ago when I first arrived in Korea) is now my dog's sleep matt.
Costco sells good absorbant beach towels and from time to time they also have the super big-size bath sheets (they almost always have the regular US sized towels). Last I checked, the regular size was 9,000, and the bath sheets were about 15,000 won. I can't remember how much the beach towels were. |

Yep, I got a couple of big towels from Emart in my fist week and they only cost 2000 won with a free flannel. |

I recently learned that they make large bath sheets that they sell for babies. It sounds like they are everywhere now (thank goodness!) but if you live in some backwater, you might want to try baby shops for your adult-sized towels. |
