Zionist, imperialist propaganda pushed by the chimp emperor Fuhrer Bush.

Everyone knows that Iran is a realm of rainbows and puppy dogs where nothing bad ever happens and that Islam is a religion of peace which respects women and fey men.

There are many in the west who might agree they should not have been hung.

Unhung, maybe.

There are also many in the west that would happily join Iran in hanging homosexuals. I suspect one or two posters on this board got a kick out of seeing a couple of gays get what's coming to them.

Those are pretty brutal images, nonetheless.

You won't find anyone here suggesting they should?

Although they try to deny it, Liberal left-wing nutballs wake up every day and must face the fact that some religions of this world just don't fit into their perfect dream of tolerance.

Amazing how we are asked to tolerate one religion, while they openly bash other religions that don't condone murdering homosexuals.

I for one think it is tasteless to photograph this kind of event. It is even worse to post them on the internet. The very least you could have done was warn people. Better would be to provide a link for those who want to view them.

I didn't.

Yes, denial is much easier to stomach. It sure makes arguing for religious tolerance much easier.

Kind of answers an interesting question though...

Which is more important to the left-wingers of the world?

A. The lives of homosexuals

B. Religious tolerance.

Answer: B. Religious tolerance.

What is your viewpoint of those who continue to link to Abu Ghraib pics?

Anyone in the west advocating the hanging of homosexuals is part of an extremist fringe. In Iran the regime enjoys popular support despite its brutal policies towards its gay citizens.

That's a very strong accusation to make. Indeed, so much so that you should be posting the names of posters who you think are guilty of such disgustings "kicks" along with an abundance of quotes supporting your contention.

You can find many posters around here who think that diplomatic initiatives should be pursued even if there is a risk that Iran develops nukes in the mean time. Further, you can find posters around here who think that Iran should have nukes because the US does. Do you want an example?

That's surprising. Liberals have a perchant for grissly shots of Iraqi civilians who have perished in this war, as well as the snaps that emerged from Abu Graib. What? Are corpses only cool if they have fallen foul of American bullets?

The difference is that without images such dastardly deeds are immediately credible - even expected - of a regimes such as Iran's but from America they are not expected and, when they occur, are barely credible.

That what America means. This is not America bashing, this is praise for America.

I would like to see some evidence however, that these policies towards homosexuals (none of us can really say how common such hangings are, or exactly what crimes these young men are accused of) are popular.

Nah. I'm a bit busy to get into long arguments, but the homophobic posters on this board know who they are. I said I suspect. Thoughts are wicked, the written word is somewhat less so, due to an edit function.

Sure.

There are some that believe that diplomatic means might yield more tangible results with halting Iran's nuclear program, but that's hardly the same as stating that Iran should have nuclear weapons.

And what else can we advocate? Invading Iran? Such a move would likely bring global meltdown.

Actually, I think it is totally reasonable that Joo posted the images, and the poster that made the argument that it's just the same as those who posted the Abu Ghraib images is right.
