the election date has been set

If you have been in kiwiland anytime during the last 3 years you can vote if you are citizen. If you're a permanant resident you need have been back in kiwiland within the last year.

I read on elections.org.nz that we can vote in person at the NZ embassy in Seoul from 31 August-16 September.
Easier than posting off forms etc...... well as long as u live in/near Seoul!!

I dunno what's easier about printing off forms and then posting? Better than doing the trek down to the embassy

You can email the details that appear in the PDF "application for o'seas posting papers" (found on the elections site) by Sept 2nd and they will post the voting papers to you, then you post them back.

I'd say that way is cheaper and more convenient than going to the Embassy - don't even think they are going to open on a Saturday for us to do it!

yes the embassy will not be open on saturday. So unless you have a nice boss you can forget about voting at the embassy.

Just as another bit of news David Lange died yesterday.
