Bush wins "Stupidest Statement", Darth Vader Accepts on his behalf

It was a night of suspense and absolute idiocy as the World Stupidity Awards awarded achievement in ignorance and stupidity in one of the hottest ticket's at Montreal's Just for Laughs Festival Friday night.
While there were surprises, US president George W. Bush and Hotel Heiress Paris Hilton dominated the evening, with Hilton taking the Stupidest Woman of the Year category and Bush winning for Stupidest Statement for his comment: "They never stop thinking of new ways to harm our country or our people, and neither do we. "
US President Bush did not attend but Darth Vader accepted in his place.
"I can't tell you what a special moment this is for me," an obviously emotional Vader told the capacity audience at Montreal's Imperial Theatre. "You never believe something like this can happen to you." |

| As I said before on an earlier thread on the same subject, it seems that the material at Just for Laughs is a little thin this year. |

There are times when Bush says things like that and people brush it off as stupidity. The guy's just being honest. (for once)
I can't remember where, but I think I saw a website with a list of "stupid" things that W has said. At the time they seemed lame-brained, but looking back now, some of them are quite revealing. Freudian Slip? Quien sabe?
I can't remember where it was, maybe Bushwatch or something like that. |

Nope it appears that honour goes to Iran, well not exactly country but Government. Canada came in third between the US in second place and North Korea in fourth place. |
