I'll be teaching in a small town (Changnyeong) and admit I'm hoplessly addicted to Zesty Cheese Doritos - are they availabe in Korea?... maybe in the big city (Daegu)? |

Yeah, but they're called "Nachos" and they taste a little different than "western style" Doritos. Pack some!!!! |

I too love cheesy doritos but havent seen any here. They have the "red" flavour at Hannam market.
That said the koreans make a mighty fine crisp, be it nacho or potato, so u'll undoubtedly find a replacement. |

Speaking of that colour, I've seen cheesy Doritos at "the red door" imported foods store in Itaewon.
Directions: Go to the intersection at Burger King and take the road that goes downward, travel a couple of blocks and look for a red door frame on your left close to a crosswalk.
Enjoy! If they aren't gone. The store circulates it's (presumably) illegal imports depending on its supplier. And expect to pay a contraband price. |

This reminds me of a Maddox essay where he claimed that guys who eat Doritos never get laid. He didn't make an addendum for Brad Pitt look-alikes, though (any white dude in Korea).
Anyway.. I've seen fake Doritos. They aren't very good. But what do you think of dried squid or meat sticks? |

You used to be able to get them at any store like Emart, Homeplus, etc. but they disappeared about a year ago. Now you have to go to a specialty food store like mentioned above. |
