Hello,

Just received a call from John Kim at Kids Herald School in Incheon who offered me a job. Anyone dealt with him and this branch?

Any info would be appreciated.

Thank you

Somewhere between two and a half to three million. It's big, there's bound to be more than one Kid's Herald.

Kid's Herald in general doesn't have a particularly good reputation, and I had a pretty crappy experience at one myself (but not in Incheon).

A friend had a bad experience at one in Incheon, near Bupyeong station. That was a few years ago, and he was the only foreigner ---- it was a small school then.

I know some people that worked at the one in Yeonsu-dong, and they had a REALLY bad experience. That was back in 2002, though.

Kids Herald ripped off everyone who ever worked for them in my town, till thankfully it folded & left. Just saying.

Be extra cautious.

The Kids Herald in my city is a shonky one as well....

He gets all the adult classes for 90 000 - 100 000 an hour but then makes his foreign teachers work them for free

I worked for the one at the Korea Herald building at Myongdong Station and got assaulted there for pointing out that I caught them lying to me about several issues.

More, a huge chunk of cash was owed to me and it took a connection at the Ministry of Justice to get most of it for me by pointing out to the big shot Hong that an audit was about to go down on the Herald newspaper for non-submittance of income taxes and pension contributions for the entire coporation.

Avoid Kids Herald's almost anywhere. My sis got ripped off from one last year, and about the same time, my girlfriend was at a different one. They "sold" her to another hogwon for a 200,000 won drop in pay. She had to take it because kids Herald waited until the last day of her visitors period to pull this crap.
