hey guys, i'm prepping for my FF draft...could use some help. i won my league last year mostly based on a solid draft and picking up a few sleepers in the second week or so. i can't count on having the number 1 pick again and i really can't count on picking up the best sleeper in the league in free agency...so any inside hints? who's my first pick if i'm not early in the draft? we have 10 teams, so i figure after the top 5 RB's are gone, it's QB...right? i don't have all of the scoring details, but it's a pretty basic Yahoo setup. thanks... |

your first pick should always be a RB. don't want to get stuck with charlie garner in the 4th round, do you? |

funny, last FF season i picked a QB(p.manning) 1st and then a RB(curtis martin) in the 3rd and kicked some serious butt. i didn't lose 1 game all season and blew away the competition in the playoffs. just ask coldcrush. he felt my cool burns, baby. |

The thread title may be confusing for some non-North Americans. They may think that you're referring to that other kind of football. |

Since you're a big Habs fan, I'll do this for you, and ONLY you.
Vanderjagt in the first round - first chance you get. I have some inside info that says he will be the overall fantasy points guy that you don't wanna be w/o. He'll be used in goalline situations in addition to his regular kicking duties. DO NOT be w/o. |

pfft. you had the fantasy equivalent of a backdoor straight. you drafted manning, curtis and tiki. three guys that had amazing seasons. two of which were completely out of left field. if you can honestly say that was your play at draft time, i tip my hat to you.
lightning wont strike twice. |
