Would someone please repost the pork chop and potatoes menu spoof? That was hilarious.

Sunboy in that embarrassing thread wrote:
I'm a nice guy, I'm not stalking anyone, and I'm really, really, well educated. Sorry, I guess. I'm just going to go out this weekend, meet a nice Korean girl who actually likes me, and that will be that.

I see Sunboy is still around; Maybe he'd care to update us on how that weekend went?

And what does 'really, really, well educated' mean?
A holder of a double-plus super duper doctorate?

Man, I can't believe all the good stuff I've missed here...

Hmm, do people in Korea ever go on dates anymore? I mean waygooks, do they ask other waygooks out. I only ask b/c it seems like everyone just hooks up the first night they meet, and go from there. So, is anyone asking anyone out when they meet or just asking if they wanna go home with them? I seem to only be meeting people that assume I will have sex with them right away. Is this because that is the way things work here? Are waygook gals easier than Koreans? Or, I that should stop wearing low cut shirts and hanging out in bars? Really, what is the deal, and since I'm already complaining have the conversational skills of men really gone to hell or what? Where are the witty ones? Ok, now I'm done. Oh, one more thing, if I hear another Korean girl tell her white boyfriend, "YOU NOT ATTENTION ME!" on the subway, I'm committing honorable suicide. Now I'm really done.

Sunboy replied:
Hey you told me you had a boyfriend Sumundur. Anyhow I don't know why you posted a whole new forum under "so" instead of just using this one. Anyhow, I'll just post the same thing again. Anyhow, I'll tell you why you can't get a date or whatever you're talking about. You're cute and have a great rack, I'll give you that, but you're way too smart, funny, witty, whatever for your own good. Not a lot of guys want to date some professor chick/comedian. If you would just shut up , and be less sarcastic, guys would think you were hotter . Anyhow the offer for the date still stands.

This is from a subsequent thread started by Sumundur. This saga is one for the ages! Sunboy seems to think that telling a girl she has a great rack and that she should shut up and be less sarcastic will win him a date. Then he has the gall to say that the offer for the date still stands. Shocked

What a *beep*!

Christ, he is absolutely incorrigible isn't he? I thank him though, for the best thread ever. I'm amazed he's not too embarrassed to keep posting.

I am absolutely convinced we are in the presence of a trolling virtuoso.
Please maestro, cast more pearls before us unworthy swine!

Oh I remembered another one. I searched for it but couldn't find it. Maybe someone deleted it as the thread might have eventually reached the inevitable point where a user claims all Korean men have small winkies and envy our large trouser snakes and a mod then killed the post...

Anyway, a user can't figure out how the hell to get to the Costco in Yangpyung. He found a map on the Costco site but the map provided little help other than to visually confirm that, yes, a Costco did exist someplace south of the Han river. The map seemed to try including major landmarks in Itaewon, like the UN village, although the Costco was located near Mokdong. For driving directions it pretty much indicated that you might need to pass through or by Yeouido island and then some place past the National Assembly a U-turn might be involved. The rest was up to the dead reckoning skills of whatever Lewis and Clark type was trying to find this Costco.

The user posted a picture of this useless map.

Jongnoguru responded with this Korean apologist-esque explanation that went something like "What you have to understand in Korea maps are more than just simple graphics offering exacting directions, from a cultural point of view, Koreans tend to view... maps... welll... NO NO THERE CAN BE NO EXCUSES! THIS IS A HORRIBLE USELESS MAP!"

Or something like that. Quite funny.
