i have a website on geocities, www.geocities.com/koldijk
the point is that in some pc bangs geocities is blocked and in others i can view my website and view/maintain/update it...
i wonder if others have had problems viewing geocities' websites?
explanations?
i'd appreciate the help of this active board and its great members

| Security settings on the web browser at the PC bang is probably your problem. Goto Tools, Internet options, security... |

| geocity websites are known to have a GANG-LOAD of viruses. Maybe they knew that and blocked the site. |

free web site hosts are the ones most likely to be blocked. That and blogger networks.
Anyhow if you want your web site to be viewable at all times it's best to have paid hosting preferably one with a dedicated ip for your account. This stops mass blockages from affecting your site. paid hosting may not be for everyone but at less than us$100 you can definitely find something affordable and easy to use with more flexibility than free hosting.
The hosting company that I use, cheap and effective is Site 5 |

what would be nice, also, are technical solutions for a pc bang owner...
maybe it isn't much www.geocities.com/koldijk but y'a know i do work hard at it and i do pay for it!!!
i should've set up a poll... can you see my site?
what other things are blocked?
has anyone had any other interesting blocking experiences?!?
