Hello,
I've just accepted another teaching position in Korea. The school is wanting me to begin work within two weeks. Is this enough time to get a visa processed from Canada? In the past I've always done a visa run to Japan.
I'm thinking it will take two days for the school to recieve my documents, two days for immigration to process the documents and another two days for the visa papers to be sent back to Canada. Once I receive them I'll have to mail everything from Calgary to the embassy in Vancouver to get the visa stamp. I'm not sure how long it will take the Korean embassy in Vancouver to stamp my passport. I've tried contacting the embassy all day but they keep putting me on hold.
Do you think two weeks is enough time to get everything processed?
Thanks for any advice you can provide. |

Tight but possible. If your karma is in good order, you should be good. |

| Mine took 3 weeks.... They say courier takes from 2-5 days internationally, so if you're one of the lucky ones I guess it could be done quite quickly... |
