burned by peter kim at esl4korea over a summer camp

... mislead as to the dates and days of the camp

... lied to about the wages

... repeatedly lied to when I asked whether he was going to contact the director

... emails sent and got promises of replies that never came

... embarrassed and seriously pissed off that I have to spend camp time sorting through contract disputes when I should be enjoying the time with the kids.

... embarrassed and made to look like I was shirking my duties by asking for clarification on saturday work, when peter promised he'd sort it out for me and return my email

... lied to about contract negotiations, Peter claims to have renegotiated my contract and that I could pick up extra cash at the end (my director says he never heard anything about it)

has anybody else had experience with Peter or esl4korea. I'd love to hear about it, as I'm supposed to be meeting him soon Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

I knew a Peter Kim, did he work at Hong-Ik University about 4 years ago? If he is the same guy, I would run away! Seriously!

Sounds like a typical Korean contract negotiation to me...

Typical or not, I'm going after my pound of flesh on this one ... no idea if he worked at Hong kik or not, I might ask him (if he turns up !).

Looks like I had a lucky escape then! I had applied for a position at the same camp. I was wondering why I hadn't heard from him about the start dates.
