Well it is only 16 days left (August 20) until the wedding and TurTlepi has made a real bonehead booboo.
I was mucking around in the lake and I picked up a board and threw it to shore. It had a spike in it and the spike went in my finger ripping a 2 inch gash along my finger for about 9 stitches.
Anyone care to venture a guess which finger is the size of a jawbreaker?
I'll give you a hint...my ring "ain't gonna" fit.
Other than that the plans for the wedding are going well...We head back to Abu Dhabi on August 24. I know a little off-topic for the Korean forums, but there are still a few folks around that remember me.
Cheers...hope all is well in Korea.... |

Congrats Turtlepi1....I'm sure your wedding will be awesome! I assume she's Korean? Will you be living together in Abu Dhabi?
I did a bonehead thing for my wedding as well (it was just a couple of weeks ago) and had an outdoor wedding in a heavy hanbok in late July. Man, was I dying...the sweat just poured down my face and my wedding guests were very uncomfortable in the heat. But still was great.
Congrats again!! |

Well, look at it this way. If something goes wrong in your marriage, you'll always wonder why you didn't listen to this little warning before you tied the knot.
Just teasin'. Good luck! |

In India, a traditional Christian wedding often includes a gold chain. At the wedding I attended, the chain wouldn't come undone. They fiddled around for 10 minutes, and finally one of the guests produced a knife, and advanced on the bride. I took a picture, but Photobucket is sort of acting up
Anyway, if you can't get the ring around your finger, maybe you could have it on a chain? Or just fake it and slip it in your pocket. Good luck! |
