Around 11 on Friday night, a Discovery Channel show called "Living With Tigers" caught my eye. The content was fascinating-- the enormous, beautiful animals, the delicate, gutsy training-- but what got me out of bed to research online was the accent of the younger trainer, Dave Salmoni.

Yep, sure enough, he's from Ontario. His accent sounds very Mennonite-based to me. Actually, his friendly sing-song voice reminds me a lot of the bartender from SCTV, the one with the "kid's show". When I go back to Winnipeg this week, I think I'm going to be hearing things in a totally new way.

His cohort has a very elegant British-South African accent. Watch this show if you can- it's just amazing, even if you don't giggle when you hear Canadian accents.

Wow! I guess I'm lucky because I think I only know about 400 Korean words, but ȣ is one of them.
