Jon Stewart brings me much joy.
The interview with the guy at the end of that show was lame though. |

IE? I heard of that a long time ago. The cool people use Mozilla or stuff even more arcane ...
I was using IE at work, tho', and I had no problems. Must be a local thing. Try again. |

Par for the course these days. Last night he 'interviewed' Kate Hudson- or rather helped shill her latest movie- yeah sure everybody else from Kimmel to Leno does it, but couldn't they do something better with the last part of the Daily Show? I love the Daily Show but Stewart turns into a simp in the last 5 min with disappointing regularity... |

They talked about babies the whole time, except for one or two sentences right at the end. As I understand it, that is a contractual obligation since she is out on a publicity tour. The studio isn't going to fly someone around if they never even mention the movie.

What did you think of Rob Corddry killing Corn Cob Bob? I thought that was hilarious. Neither of the guys interviewed seemed to know just how to react to Corddry. I think they often splice film to make those bits funny, but they definitely didn't do that last night. |

I absolutely loved it! So much so in fact that I searched for a suitable Corn Cob Bob .jpg to use as an avatar.
That issue made the papers here just before July 1st, but I thought it was a local issue that no one would pick up on.
Way to go, Daily Show team!

Sure you've got the big bad oil company in the story for a compelling villain, but 'Corn Cob Bob' is a really loopy marketing concept- what were they thinking? |
