Just wondering, is it legal to install a game like starcraft in a pc bang and let 100s of players use it? That sort of practice in England would be stopped pretty swiftly methinks. |

Have you not ever seen the 50 boxes of each game at the front of the PC Bang. Seriously, each place buys a bunch of copies, then uses them. No problem there. Or they could just buy a copy that is designed for PC Bangs. I know that to play my copy of Starcraft, you have to have the CD inserted, so you couldn't have it on 100s of computers.

No-cd cracks are easily obtainable for most games out there, but in Korea, users seem to like programs like CD Space, which is an emulator of a cd rom drive on your hard drive. It allows you to run and read cd programs without the cd. I can't remember the last time I had to ask for a cd to play Starcraft at a PC room. Several years, anyway. |

Everyone plays in BNet. They should have serial numbers for each computers to be connected. They all buy each copies. |

The only point I was trying to make was that one doesn't need to physically have the cd to play the game. Whether a PC room buys the number of copies of the game equal to the number of computers it has is debatable. More than once at the PC room I've received the message "That Cd key is already in use" (or something to that effect) message when trying to log on to B.Net. |
