I'm trying to trash out an arrangement with my prospective employer at the moment. It would involve me working part-time at a hogwon, but on an E2 visa sponsored by him.

What I'm wondering is, how much cost and hassle is it for an employer to sponsor a teachers E2 visa ??

I have an F-2-1 visa and finding that many schools don't want to bother with E-2 sponsorship, even though the process is simple and inexpensive (maybe 30,000 won).

My part-time job search is getting frustrating, because it seems the directors at a lot of hagwons would rather hire a part-time teacher illegally and off the books.
