well....since you guys are asking for facts......I recently recruited someone for our school. I posted the ad and received between 30 to 40 applicants. (this includes two other sites as well).

Contacted 2 people I know who are running recruitment agencies for asia. One of them places exclusively in Korea.

On average he gets 40-60 resumes or applicants for each job he offers.
He places about 15-20 teachers a month.

So he goes through about 800 resumes a month.

There is high volume out there and a lot of crap from what he tells me.
