anyone else get this from an AVG. Virus scan?
ran adware/spyware doc/
ran AVG again and it reported nothing. False Alarm? |

I got a Trojan.Dropper.8.B warning just recently.
I believe it was either a false reading (first on ever from AVG), but more likely had something to do with AVG not correctly reading Microsoft's new verification s/w.
When I clicked the link for more info on the virus/trojan at the AVG website it came up with nothing.
Anyway it's gone now for me.
Were you updating an MS o/s for the first time since the announcement that they would verify o/s's and only legit ones would receive updates? That's when this occurred to me.
Could it be related this? Dunno:

I got the same Trojan Dropper.8.B show up on my AVG 3 days ago. It deleted it. No problem since. |
